五嶋みどり アーティスト・ティーチャー・アワードを受賞
2025年3月25日 五嶋みどりは、献身的な社会貢献活動と先駆的な教育プロジェクトが高く評価され、2025年度全米弦楽指導者協会（ASTA）のアーティスト・ティーチャー・アワードを受賞しました。 五嶋は受賞に際し、「教育は私の人生とキャリアを支える柱の一つです。これまでに培った知識を共有し、それぞれの芸術的表現を見つける手助けをすることで、未来の音楽家たちの意欲を高められると信じています」とコメントを発表しました。

For 32 years Midori & Friends, founded by Midori, has invested in over 320,000 students in NYC by providing tuition-free music education programs, igniting positive social change in generations of students and their families.
